Yes, we are scheduled to teach at one of our favorite museums, the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, California. We hope you can join us this summer for our 8-week course, Storytelling through Quilting. Class begins June 1, 2014 and runs Sundays from 1-4 pm until August 3 (no class on June 15 and July 6). We will cover design elements and principles to help you tell your story in cloth. Hand stitching, surface design, and getting photos to fabric are just some of the topics that will be covered. When you finish the class, you will have a 12″ x 24″ art piece to hang in your home. Take a look at our sample below (click on the thumbnail for full view), which tells the story of Deb’s trip to Ghana. This class is suited for everyone. From beginners to advanced, from teenagers to grandparents, you’re all welcome. For more information, contact us. To enroll in the class, go to Crocker’s website. Come and create art with us!
