When the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was announced on June 24, 2022, we were completely deflated. Yes, we knew a decision limiting women’s reproductive rights was coming down the pike, but the finality of the decision left us wondering what our lives would have been like were we young adults now. We, at 64 and 63 years old, have only known the right to choose how to manage our reproductive rights. This piece highlights those initial feelings. The background lists all the women who have had or will have abortions. May they always remain legal.
