Just a short note to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving 2019 and to let you know that we are taking a little break this week to spend time with our families. We are so grateful for them as we are for our friends, students, and colleagues. Here’s a short reminder of how to make those fun hand turkeys. They are such a fun activity for the little ones. Actually, they’re fun for the big ones, too.
Trace Hand
Just trace your hand. Kids will make cute, little turkeys, and we older folks will make larger turkeys with some life experiences etched on the “body.”
Draw and Color
Add some colorful feathers, eye, beak, and snood. Don’t forget the feet! Below is Deb’s turkey, Kris’ is at the top of the page. By the way, you can tell Kris made that turkey ’cause she’s left-handed!
