Our farewell tour started out with a bang! “Mrs. Hamer” was used for publicity throughout the Women’s Summit at the Clinton Presidential Center. We hope to have more to report on this amazing trip soon. Below are some important upcoming dates. Please join us, if you can.
Happy Holidays,
Kris and Deb, the Pixeladies

Photoshop Elements Classes
Beginning Jan 9, 2023 • Online
Our final series of classes will begin on Jan 9. We will teach all three classes one more time. Click here for more information. Start the new year with classes on Photoshop, a wonderful tool in your creative toolbox. All students are welcome. You do not have to be an artist, quilter, photographer, or genealogist. Photoshop is for everyone! We use Photoshop Elements in these classes.

Commentaries in Cloth
Jan 27 – Apr 6, 2023 • Folsom, California
We are sharing our final exhibition with our dear friend and sculpture artist, Susan Else at The Gallery at 48 Natoma. View our latest pieces as well as some old favorites. The opening reception will be held on Fri, Jan 27, 2023, 6:00 – 8:00pm. We hope to see you there!

Furoshiki: Fun with Fabric Folding
Feb 11, 2023, 12-2 pm • Rancho Cordova, California
In conjunction with the exhibition, “Righting a Wrong: Japanese Americans and WWII,” we will demonstrate how to wrap items in cloth. The exhibition and demonstration will be at the MACC (Mills Station Art & Cultural Center). We wrote a book about the Japanese art of furoshiki in 2012, but we’ve always thought the live demos are lots of fun, so we hope you can attend.

    • Thanks for your question. The courses are cross-platform, so they are available for Mac or PC. They are NOT available for iPads. We teach using Photoshop Elements, but what is offered on the iPad is not robust enough for our purposes.
